Howdy,
That by chance wouldn't be why you were looking for that 1980 magazine now would it...

I have first shot at this trivia question.

What magazine issue did you need again? I will dig down to the bottom of my magazine stash and have a look..

Curtis.

A lot of people know I am trying to complete my collection of ATC magazines. I am scanning these into a PDF files. Once I get a Complete years worth of a Magazine I am putting them on CD. I am starting with 1980 3 Wheeling and Dirt Wheels. I only need 2 of the 1980 3 Wheeling Magazines to complete that year. I'm doing this so that I can read the Magazine without wearing the magazines out. Those who loan me a magazine that I don't have to scan will get a copy also ( for the year / magazine they helped with ). ;)

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. lmao

I am not sure if I can Legally sell copies of them. So for now I must reserve them for the people that help me finish the collection. It is a lot of Hard work and time consuming to scan them. On average it takes 1-2 minutes per page. The magazines I scanned so far average 100 pages. I have over 160 magazines ( I estimate I have 1/3 to 1/2 of them ). What really bites is that I can't edit the PDF files ( yet ). So if I make a mistake I have to start over. But I feel it will be worth it in the end. I am getting better though, the last 2 magazines I scanned were done good enough on the first try.

I picked up another 225DX on Dec 26. It's a beater but it runs. It's actually not too bad, needs a little TLC though.

Maybe you could offer them as "bonus gifts" with a 3WW donation,or along with some other 3WW stuff with a higher price ? .You see my angle anyway.I know it will be alot of work, but it would be worth it to have them all on a disc.
Good luck with it.
