Tri Zinger questions

I just picked up an 84 TriZinger. I have a few questions...
1. What plug is supposed to be used with it?
2. Does regular 2 stroke oil go in the little oil tank beneath the seat?
3. How can I tell if the oil injection system is working?
4. Can I just use premix and not worry about the oil tank or will that jack something up?

Need help quick, Id like to get it running by Christmas Eve!

I got the trike with gas in the tank but no oil in the oil tank so I didnt try to run it until I figure out this oil situation.

you do not need to fill the oil tank with oil for it to run,to tell if the oil injection is working just poor the oil to about half the tank full and get a sharpie marker and mark were it is and run it for a while(make shure you mix the gas with 2 cycle oil if you do this, because if the unit isnt working and you dont mix the oil you will burn your motor up)and see if it is taking oil, if so use the oil injection, but just to be safe i would mix the gas with the oil.

1. Go to you dealer and they will hook you up with the right plug.
2.You can use regular 2-stroke oil, but make sure it is safe to run in oil injectors.(if you use the oil injector)
3.There will be a little tube attached to the side of the carb. Take it off, and turn the motor over, don't start it,.If oil comes out of that little tube, your injector works.
4.Yes, you can run just pre-mix. It won't hurt anything. Just get all the oil out of the tank and oil line.

NGK Plug is B7HS. Those injectors almost never fail, but you can also premix, giving you the ability to use a better oil at a leaner ratio, and yes, if you run the injector, make sure you get an oil thats meant to be run in an injector system. If you do decide to premix, make sure you plug the oil line going into the carb. If you just disconnect it, it will **** air.

Thankyou to all who helped me with my questions...the little trike runs great. Its a little rough and there's a few things Ill need to do to it still. But India (my little girl) loves it. To her it may as well be a 1987 Tiger KXT 500 RZ!
