I have a 85' 200x. the tires that are on it are spidertracks and they are so bald they are like drag slicks and I am looking at getting some new tires but I cant decide on waht kind I want to use. I am looking for some suggestions on what you guys are running and how you like them. I mainly ride on dirt, clay, some and snow. I don't really ride in mud or down the road at all. So I would be happy to hear some of your suggestions. Thanks

Mud lights are very good i have them on my r and they are good on hard packed, mud, and snow and are a very light tire! and not very exspensive! Best tires Ive ever owned!

I dont know really. I really wouldn't mind going to an 18 but not anything smaller. It has 22-12.5-9's on it now.

Well from what I have been told, and experienced on my old SX 18's are too small. I am about to buy a set of Maxxis Razrs for my 350X. Size: 20x11x9. I have the same size that you are running right now. Just way too big. Too Tall. Im getting the Razrs for $88 plus shipping. New. The are kind of a squared off tread tire. Not rounded. Hook up good.

I would say Razer. They are good on most terrain like dirt, pavement, clay, snow and mud.

I was thinking razrs or maybe the Kenda gnarly or the klaws but I have never ridden anything with either of those on them so I dont know how well they hook up.

whats wrong with shredders?thats what i run and i am very impressed, same tread design and seem to hold up to some abuse.i have 3 inch spacers and i'm always slamming trees and rocks with the sides of my tires and have not had any trouble, shredders seem to be good tires, and i would recomend either tire with that tread design, holeshots seem to wear fast though.

i prefer the Ohtsu MR501 radial. It was the stock tire for the 300ex. they are 20x11-9s. You will need to get a set of 9" 350X wheels to use them. They are the best all around knobby I have ever ridden

I got Titan Fast Trekkers on the rear of my Tecate 20-10-10 I believe. I like them alot and they look great allso. You can get em for I believe less than 50 bucks a tire. I got a new Kenda Front Max up front and that Hooks up great. 22-11-10. That was around the same price. If you get a new front tire go with the Kenda Front Max. Heres a pic of my rear end of the Tecate. The Tires are Titan Fast Trekkers 20"

The best Deals I have found so far on tires is at http://www.nebraskatire.com/atv/atv_home.htm I found them after I had already ordered a set of mudbugs for my bigred, I could have saved 10.00 over the best other price I could find including shipping they have many good tires that they sell for just 25.00 each plus 10.00 shipping

My frst choice for tires were the titan trekkers but no shop around here can get them. At least thats what they tell me. The one shop that can get them I refuse to deal with him since he wants 65 dollars for blemished tires. So I am going to look at some tires right now. Probably going to get the razrs. I rode my neighbors 250x the other night and they hook up pretty darn good.

ii GOT 20' X 11' X 8' S ON THE BACK OF MY 200X .The guy at the local dealer highly recommended them, tons of grip, makes the trike a little more stable during cornering and are absolutly one of the best all around tires for the area i ride. He showed me he even uses them on his race quad. Lots of bite, good for trails, hillclimbs, snow(not 2 deep) and mud. I paid aruond $70 a piece for mine. can't wait to get her runnin to try them out.. Up on these trail those tires are very popular thats the only trails you see uot in the woods. 6-plies are very puncture resistant- well worth the mony in the long run.............LONG LIVE THE DINOSAURS..............

Be careful who you get to mount those new tires. I took the old tires off my rims for the big red Im rebuilding. sand blasted the rims, got ever little dent and nick out of them, primed, wet sanded, painted, spent the best part of a day working on them, they were perfect. Just got my two new mudbugs yesterday, took them to have them mounted by "professionals" they tried to use there regular tire mounting thing first, the donut part that holds the wheel down just barely fit in the wheel, scratching down to metal all the way down the inside of the wheel, then that machine wouldnt work on them so they used vicegrip pliers on the edges, hammers, screwdrivers and whatever else they could find, when I got there to pick them up they were just finishing up the last one until I saw they them both mounted to go on the right side of the threewheeler I was pizzed, big time.
I always use that shop for cars, trucks and tractors and they do a good job but know nothing about or just arent equiped to deal with atv tires
I took them resanded out all the scratches hammered out all the nicks and bends I could and repainted them. I will spray them one more time today they look good, but not as good as they were.
