are there alot of mods out there for the tri z's and the tecate's? like exhaust and big bore kits? after i sell my recently restored 200x i have to get a car/truck then in june or soemthing i can get another trike. so im thinkg an tri-z or a tecate. i will do some woods riding (my trails are being built on in a year or two) so i will be making it a sand trike when my trails are gone. so i just want to no is there alot of mods out there for these trkes? also is there anything special i should no wabout the 2 strokes(never owned one, only 2 stroke i got is the sled i just got). also are they very loud witht the stock exhaust? and for the tecate and z i would get any year.i would consider and r also but i already no there are tons of mods for them.

I'd love to have a TRI-Z, an 85 with 86 forks would be awsome. DG makes a pipe for it and any good shop like CT or Trinity should be able to make a cone pipe specially for your needs. I'm sure someone will tell you about the special portwork that can be done. Chassis wise you can use Raptor/Banshee/Warrior shocks and I think the banshee axle carrier swaps in to allow use of the wider axles available. If I had a choice of a bike now it would be the Z no contest, the best looks of the 3 pingers, lots of power to be coaxed out of its motor and lots of cool mods.

The Tecate has lots of mods available but not the chassis type mods that are available to the Z and R but lots of motor mods.
