They are probably 83-84R and 85-86 350X. They are the same kit when you order form Progressive. What you really need is the diameter of the spring to be sure. I know for my 350X's, you use that spring AND a PVC spacer. They might actually be for a 85-86R, but the guy didn't get the PVC spacer to put in with them, thus he thinks they are "too short"

But for $10 BIN, and $10 shipping, you can't go wrong, even if you resell them. New they are roughly $75-80 plus shipping. I got some on sale through BikeBandit this summer for $62 a set for my 82R and my rider 350X.

How do you know they are progressive springs and not stock? Doesn't say anything about being progressive in the ad unless I missed it somewhere.

They are one piece, with the different weight spirel. I know my 350X and I think my 250R that had stock HONDA springs actually have 2 different springs. Maybe I shouldn't have capitalized "progressive" as a trademark. They are progressive, cause of the variable 'k' rating of the spring, however, you are right, they may not be manuafactured by Progressive Suspension.

PS - Yes, I can't remember which set was interchangable, but seems like either the 85-86 350X or the 81/82 R set also had Tri-Z and Tecate as other applications.
