is this out of the question for a good running 84 250r? maybe not the prettest but a good runner? what do u guys think?

take it man, I bought my 82 250r for 350 canadian but need piston and rebore, take that deal man
I also just got a 84 250r for 200 but I traded my 200s too
I would do that, then make her run like a clock

thats not what i mean i dont have a deal lined up i was pretty much wondering how much they go for. i only ask cuz i saw one for 1200 that really wasnt all that great looking to be honest and that was the only 250r ive ever seen. id like to buy one

umm, I would say a fair running 250r here in Canada is about 1200 so I would think around the 700-900 mark would be a good price, 1200 is too much in my opinion

i know of a dude that may know a guy that has a 84 250r for 400.. ill talk to him about it tonight and see if i can give you his name.. he is here on the board, and ive bought stuff off of him.. a good guy, but he just knows the guy that has it..

I am sure you could. I have been thinking about selling my nice looking super fast runner just so I can buy something else. So if mine is a nice running machine and looks good for that, I dont see why you wouldnt be able to get one for that if you search hard enough. Heck there is an 81 on ebay for 100$ in Denver that no one has bid on with no reserve............peace

I payed 500 for my 83, the guy thought it didn't run since it hadn't been able to start for years, and when we pulled it behind our truck it fired right up, sputtered, and all we had to do was put fresh gas and oil in it. Keep your eyes open, the deals come around every so often if you're patient.

Be persistant, I've never an into an R or X very cheap, but I did get a big red for $350, and a 200s for $150.

i got my 83 250R for 580 same story as azhondagrl, all i did was brought a new spark plug and kicked it over 3 times and saw a "WTF" look on the guys face. LOL
i got m 85R for 1000 which is a steal in cali
