I am not positive, so someone can correct me if I am wrong. Aren't these just designed to give you more top end by allowing more flow through at the higher RPMs?

Olderfox im pretty sure thats what they do, give you more power throughout your powerband and only for 2 strokes, I plan on getting Pro series for my 84 R.

That is what makes a 2 stroke run. 2 strokes do not have intake and exhaust valves like a conventional 4 stroke engine. They use reed valves on the intake side of the cylinder. As for that auction I think Boyesen pro sereis reeds use to be called power reeds. Whoever won that auction stole them and should give the seller some more money :w00t:

Just put on a pair tobay Boysen Rad vaulve. Put one on an 85 last year faster in every gear. I is a more efficient reed box with better flow and a straighter angle to cyl.
