for chrismas my girlfriend is going to get me a set on 10x10 inch rims for my big red, unless I tell her otherwise. I plan to put a 22-11-10 titan at 489's on these rims that I will take from my scrambler.

running a setup like this I have the following questions
1. am I more likely to blow a bead?
2.any other concerns I should have?
3.will a ten by ten make the rear end grip more making it harder to slide? (9x9 3-6 backspacing verse 10x10 4x6 back spacing)

the sooner I can get feenback the better because she wants to order soon so I will get them by christmas :naughty:

the bigger the rim the easier to slid my friend.

#1 no
#2 none
#3 Depends on what was on it before. The rim will not affect the grip. The height and how wide it is will (the tire size) but the rim will have no affect.

well the old tires were 25-12-9 but they are balloons, so theres only maybe 6 inches of true contact patch. the 489's only have about half tread so I won;t feel bad if I have to get rid of them.

thanks again.

You will be perfectly safe running that tire/wheel combo. The size of the wheel dont have anything to do with sliding ability or grip....all that has to do with the tire choice
