What kind of tires does everyone use on there 250sx? I will use mine mainly for yard work and maybe a few trails (the Z is a little more fun in the trails though). Also has anyone put 9 inch rims on theirs?

don't know of anyone with a nine inch ribm on a 250sx, but big reds are basically the same and came with 9 inch rims stock.

It has the same 4 by 110 pattern as the 250R and 350X. I interchage tires depending on what I need. My SX is on 18x11x10 holeshots for now. I run 20x11x9 studded holeshots on the ice. I have the original tires but rarely put them on because it handles and looks so much better with the smaller tires.

I agree, the smaller tires do look and handle better. My SX runs 20x11x8 Manco (generic holeshots) and I also have 20x11x10 turf tamers that I can swap onto it when I really want to slide it around (well.. as well as a SX can slide ;) ) I sold my originals (had 2 year old trail pros on it) I liked the higher speed but hated the handling & looks.

Ditto. These tires will hook up on anything and pull you out of trouble except for the extra thick and sticky mud

I use the 22x11x8 Maxis razor tires on all my SXs. I'd like to put some big ol' 25x12x10 tires on but I dont think they will fit.
