I had most of them ( and a few others ) saved in my "Watching Folder". I got lucky and picked up a couple others that didn't get much attention, or were listed wrong. ;)

I know the feeling Bruce. You should just put a snipe bid in on the ones you want. Then no one will know your watching / bidding until it's too late. I also found I have gotten a few things cheaper this way. And I don't have to stay by the computer when they end. ;)

It's not really that hard to find if you know how to search on ebay. I only bring up ebay stuff if noone has bid yet, or looking through the bidders to see if someone's not already on it.

lmao, He sniped me on a item ( few weeks ago ). I could have beaned him. I switched to sniping since then.
Yea, I seen that post ( number plate ). It's funny because Mike was going to throw it in the trash.

Don't worry about it, your not the first person to feel the heat off some selfish members. People appreciated it, and don't worry what a few members say. Ebay is a auction, if they dont want a bidding war, then they should "buy it now".
EDIT - Heres a couple things I was checking out.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=52405&item=8152327064&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

First of all... I'm not 'selfish"
Second of all... If an item has a decent "Buy it now" price, I use it. (Ask Blazerone22)
Third of all.... it's called common courtesy. If you had bids on 4 of the 5 items posted, would you have the same attitude? Would you put them up for all to see? I'd think not.
Guess it's just me that passes on an item if I see someone form the board already has a bid on it. Guess I should just look out for my 'selfish' self from now on and just bid over other forum members and post their auctions for all to see. Guess I'm in the wrong.

Main Entry: selfˇish
Pronunciation: 'sel-fish
Function: adjective
1 : concerned excessively or exclusively with oneself : seeking or concentrating on one's own advantage, pleasure, or well-being without regard for others
2 : arising from concern with one's own welfare or advantage in disregard of others
Yes, selfish.
I posted links my last post, even the one I said "I thought about picking this up", and I have posted many other links before that I was bidding on, When I got outbid by someone on this board, did I throw a hissy fit? Nope. When you go to a real life auction, do you get pissed when other people bid against you?? All of us here like the same thing, ATC's., there is only so many things available, its not like you can say "oh, my pal who lives 3 states away is bidding on that, Gee, i'll just pick one up at wal-mart".
Theres nothing bad about bidding against your friends, or people you know, All the people i've bid against had no problems with it, and neither did I, Ebay is fair game.
How many times do I have to go over this with you.
Edit- Another point, look at most the auctions, you'll see I had a bid in., And, I noticed you had no bid on that one I posted untill I posted the link, Hmmmm Wouldnt this be proof it HELPS YOU to find stuff you skip over? Wait, maybe I should throw a fit ;)

I did that on purpose. Thoguht you'd like a little bidding competition. :welcome: Guess it does bother you a bit else you wouldn't have commented about it!
So Thanks for the English lesson, but I still disagree with you and obviously, you disagree with me. So forget it. I don't need any more lessons form you nor do I really ask for them. Guess I'm still 'selfish' for passing on auctions if I see someone else on the board is bidding. I'll keep that in mind, especially when I see an auction you are winning.
I do know how auctions work. But if you are at an auction, do you bid, then run around and tell all your friends hey.. look at this I'm bidding on! Man, you're missing out on this one!! Common over here and bid why don't you?? Do you put up advertisements.. "Hey look at this auction I'm bidding on!!" Hmmmm... I don't think so. You see one of your friends winning an auction, do you go run around and grab others so they don't miss out bidding on your friend? NO. It's basically, if you are paying attention, you bid. If you find the ad, you go there and do your bit. Noone holds your hand or drags you to auctions you might like or might miss out on.
So let me pacify you... YOU ARE CORRECT. Please post every and any ebay auction you want. But really, 99% of the stuff that's posted, is stuff that anyone with half an ounce of searchability can find on their own. Just a waste of bandwidth. If you really want to help others, teach them how to search. You can feed them fish with your posting of auctions and satisfy a brief appetite, but oh Grasshopper... you teach them to fish, and they will be fed forever.

Hey Bruce, heres another one for you, Doesnt look like you've found it yet, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=6938870687&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT
And no, I honostly don't mind that you bid on that, I actually found it interesting that you bid on it, Because I knew it was just in spite of me, Obviously you don't know me too well, or you'd know I'm laughing right now ;) .

To ALL who post links to auctions on the board THANKS!
Helps a TON!
DON'T stop!!
Being a member of this board doesn't mean jack on ebay. People might not bid against their buddies, but they will snipe a member in a heartbeat. (Oh I didn't know you were a member! Whatever). I've played those games before and I'm done with them. If you're bidding on something I want, you will lose or pay through the nose for it.
