lol Nice one x.system. Be a nice score, both the tires and rims look great.

From what I've been hearing these can still be bought new but nobody who knows really want to share the secret.

I'm gonna spring for 4ply Turf Savers myself to add a little old school to my Tecate.

they are available brand new from duro, just not blue. Sure they are neat, but if you really want a flat track tire, just get the black version.

These tires are more of a MX tire than a flattrack tire aren't they? Don't remember seeing anyone from the old pics using them, everyone favoured the Turf Savers and other lawnmower tires.

I'm gonna buy some 4 ply Turf Savers for most of the hardpack riding I'll do and I may be able to use them in the 1/4 mile drag races on pavement this summer.

Is it really that big of a deal that you can't tell us?

I contacted Duro and when they respond I will let everyone know where to buy these if they are in fact still available. Last time this discussion came up those two did the same thing, said they knew where to get them but won't offer to let anyone know, thanks boys.

About 8 months ago I contacted Duro, they no longer make them in blue, and I belive they didn't know where to buy them. Then I contacted the ATV salvage place that still has them, and they won't ship tires for some dumb reason, you gotta pick them up in Kentucky.

I'm in Southern IL. I can get to Kentucky in a little under 2 hours. I'd probably do it as long as they aren't on the other side of Kentucky.

Shoot...why do you need to buy blue tires? Come ride at my house for a while. Depending on your tire brand, your tires will turn blue from contact with the soil around here. I dont know if there is a chemical in the soil that reacts with the rubber or what...but if your run Dunlops, they will be blue in a few days.

They are the only tire I don't have in my collection yet and I want them for a couple of my R's once they are finished. I've got sand tire setup, a street tire setup, dirt, stock, pretty much any kind of tire meant for the 250r except the blue duro's. They will look good with my westcoast, extended axle, shorttrack tank, 87 seat, 250r.

I'd probably do it if we get a few people that want them. But remember you'll have to pay for me to ship them to you. Also I think we should split the cost of my gas and keep in mind I drive a full size Bronco.

I called them yesterday and they still have few in stock. I offered to buy everyone if they would ship and he said he couldnt ship tires. I told him that I run a tire business and that I would have one of our carriers pick them up and all he would have to do is get them together and load them up and he still would not do it he said I would have to pick them up in person. WTF!!!! Sounds a little odd to me.

Haha my friend called him the other day, and he said he would ship them to us, and asked where we were, we told him TN, and he said well if you are that close you better just come pick them up...I am easily within driving distance, but the problem is, they are not ever open on the weekends, so I would have to have a day off work to do it.

i dont know if your friend is a smooth talker, or if the guy doesn't like northerners, but he wouldn't even consider shiping anything up to me. Blown, you still up for a trip[ if we pay you?
