My new project 200x

I just picked up a 200x in the tail end of the rebuild stage. most everything is there except the headlight and chain sprocket guard. Nice bike, Motor been gone through. I'll get pics on here soon. Frame has been powercoated new bearings throughout new aluminum wheels and tires. DG pipe chrome. I need to track down some white plastic for it that I'll probally buy new. But if anyone has a nice headlight or chain guard drop me a note. Oh, the tank needs to be treated for rust. So if anyone has one let me know. the outside of the tank looks great so I may just buy that gunk to treat it. Its an 83 so I could use some help a far as reference on interchangable parts and stuff like that. I'll have the red plastic up for sale so if you need plastic drop me a note and I'll send you pictures, its in decent shape, scuffed up. I figured I might as well get new since the frame and swingarm look great. I can't wait to get it going.

What are you looking to interchange from? Far as 200X's. 83-85 are all interchangable. Maier makes the white plastic you are looking for.

It has an 85-86 front fender on it, I also found that the 85-86 fits my 83 r too. I'm ordering new plastic and I like the style of the R fender. I was wondering do I have an R triple tree on my x or are the fenders interchangable. I know that I was not specific. but anything helps out. I don't know much about the x's I've been reading a few posts though. Thanks

don't know for sure but the 200x 250r and 350x front fender should fit. the holes to mount it will be different but if you get new maire fender it will have no holes.

The maire fender I bought for the 250r came with holes and they match up with my 83r and the 200x. Nice to see another Oregon rider. Where do you ride?

well i have been riding at florence my entire life. the sand is the best. i use to ride in the mud but not much any more. well i don't ride much any more cause i decided to build the nuts outa my 200x then ran out of money. then work was slow, so that did not help. I should be going again in a month. but i like to ride everywhere

I just picked up an 83 200x. Bought it as a lego type project, parts are all powercoated now I have to figure out how to put it all together. Have any pics of your x?

The Fenders from the 83r, 85-86 will fit on a 200x.....I have an 85 i believe.....doesnt look right with the big mud tires on the back, but OH WELL!!! haha
