thats why yall got sleds up there hehehe.. when i lived in lisbon and in lisbon falls we used to go ride all the time with 3 wheelers over the sleds, expecially on the packed stuff like the snomobile trail..

There actually was a track kit for 3wheelers. My dads best friend bought one for his nephew for his 3wheeler but it didint work very well because it was to heavy on back and it didnt turn very well. I think his nephew still has it.

I think if you put tracks on youll end up with something like the yammie snoscoot anything more than 6inches and you put it away. Buy a vintage sled man they are cheap and some times free

I wanted to do this and it would be fairly easy to do so now a days if you wanted to and had the cash for the kit. They are expensive and you would have to weld a simple bracket on your frame. ask if you want more info.

Are you talking about the ski you put on your front instead of a tire? If so 3 wheelin magazine did an article on that. I saw it today when I was lookin at the magazine collection on the website. If you search you might find the article.

Nope, he's talking about the twin tracks that SNOTRAXX used to manufacture for the Banshee, TRX250R, LT250R and such. Nowadays AD Boivan makes a kit for most sport quads that includes two tracks and two skis that basicly bolt on and conert your quad into a sled.

I personally think that a ski on the front and paddles on the rear would work good enough. It would be a lot lighter for the motor to turn.

Agreed, the tracks add some weight and once they get blocked with wet snow I would deam them useless to a high RPM loving motor like an R, Tecate or Tri-Z. Paddles would be more cost efficient as well. The money saved from buying paddles instead of tracks could be spent on having a mount for a deep powder ski fabricated from aluminum.

wouldnt all u would need in the snow is sand tires?? them gecko's look pretty bad...i mena..snow and sand is about the same..snow is just heavier and packs real hard if its wet..which would still be ok with the paddles wouldnt it?
