As some of you may already know, i got my decals back yesterday. and today i washed it real good and put it all back together.
i shouldnt say i am completly done though (only cosmetically)
i am going to buy some new gaskets off denniskirk. mine are veeeery leaky.
this bike cost me $630 when i got it.
had a nice duct-tapped seat with a doormat stapled over that
fenders were painted and it was all chipping off
motor runs awesome

WHAT IVE DONE
-put over 10 hours into the fenders (stripping paint, sanding, polishing, etc.) (approx $15)
-put a brand new DG RCM Exhaust on it ($160)
-got the seat recovered ($110)
-new decals ($48)
-new battery ($46)
-resoldered ignition (it had been bypassed before) ($0)
-new spark plug ($4)

15+160+110+48+46+0+4= $383 was put into it. $1013 all together.

just curious, how much do you think someone would buy this for?

If anyone needs decals like that, i can pick them up for ya. probaly be about $20 or less for the set, all they'll have to do is print them, since their already in the computer.

I have a few pics of what it looked like along the way. none from just when i bought it, i wish i did though. TIP: take pictures of your bike before you fix it up. then you can see how good of a job youve done.

heres the muffler it came with. (my brother calls it the old lady cunt)

here is what it looks like now.

just a rear view of it

here is what i was riding it like when i was working on the fenders

here is what the fenders looked like after i stripped the paint.

To clean the mudflaps and tires real good, i used "GM Tire Cleaner" it gets them really black without making them greasy, because when they are greasy, dirt will stick to them and it is a b**** to get them clean.

Thanks everyone for all of the positive comments :beer

Excellent work man. By the way I think that seat is killer! My big red project is coming along well, the motor is almost finished. I'll have pics and an update soon!
