I went mudding today but when I went through any water it would cut out and die. Then it was real rard to start. Now at about 1/8 throttle it just spits and sputters. Help!

P.S. It is a beast in the mud I had a blast :w00t:

hey, may just be wet ignition, try spraying it with wd-40, to dry it out.

I would drain your carb bowl, and your petcock. You probably got water in your carb, it happens to me all the time. THere should be alittle regular screw on the left side I believe just loosen it a little bit, it will allow the gas in the carb to drain out the over flow, and then close it and you should be good :-)

Try kicking it over a couple times with the spark plug out. I had to do this before ,because I got water on the piston, and I kicked it a couple times and water came out. I put the plug back in and drove home(Then replaced the oil ;) )

Well I drained ihe carb and petcock then put a new plug in and it ran like new.
The plug i took out was only 2 days old.
I think it is running rich because it black smokes when exelerating.
Has any body ever used a Dial-A-Jet? If so how does it work?

Smoking while accelerating usually means you fried a valve.

To be more exact on the black smoke: it only smokes while idling and when shifting. I put another new plug in then drove down the road 1/4 mile at full throttle, then back at full throttle. Then I took the plug out and it was black just like the second image http://3wheelerworldforums.com/showthread.php?t=28093&highlight=spark+plug+color
