I still have (or had) the original Ohitsu rubber on my 86 250R until yesterday, when I went on a ride to Gormon (Hungry Valley) CA. While sliding through a wash, I nailed a fairly large rock an punched a righteous 1 1/2" hole in my sidewall, effectively ending my riding day  . Now I need new tires and rims. I live in so cal, so pretty much everything is desert. Any good desert tire recommendations? I want to stick with 20x11x9's, & I need something with a decent sidewall that you can slide with but still gets good traction. I was thinking kenda trackers. rockymountainatv has a package w/ douglas .160's for about 155 delivered.
