110 ignition system

I have finally got my 110 almost complete and It is giving me a major problem. Its a 1980 model with a points/condenser ignition system on it that refuses to work corectly. I have a couple of 83 model 110's in the back with a newer CDI system on them that I would like to put on this 110. My question(s) is, What all do I need to change? Is it going to be more trouble than its worth, and is it even possible in the first place? Thanks, Lomax

that would be the points ignition system, the points might just need to be set, but you may be able to take the whole wire harners(coil and stator too) and put it on, i cant remember if the heads where the cdi is diffrent for thses models...but i think it should fit
