300ex skid plate on 200X?

Hey guys, my skid plate on my 200X swing arm is kinda all narly. I was thinking about trying to replace it with an aluminum one for a 300ex. Anyone try this or ever got to compair a 300ex plate and 200X? Thanks for any info.
