At a quick glance, kinda resembles a '82 atc250r airbox. But the bracket placement doesn't look right.

According to this article (last paragraph) lighting kits, handle bar mounted gas tanks, and air boxes were options for Tigers, so maybe it is a Tiger air box. Although if it were, it would probably be made out of fiberglass? What are Tiger gas tanks made out of?

i have never seen a tiger air box and i doubt they eve existed

i would bet that it is a tiger part for dusty or wet racing...it is not a tecate part or a 250r part

Yeah I've got them on my 85 T3 as well.
They say in the article that the buyer had a choice between the pictured Carlisle's or the flattrack R/A's.

Found it in a old Dirt Wheels today. Pg 57 in the August 82 mag. Made by Don Emler's Roost Factory.
