If you only have a part number how can you easily find out where it goes on the bike.

I.E. Part 91254-HA0-003 (Oil Seal) is listed on ebay, but which oil seal is it?

(I am also looking for a way to easily look up other part numbers as well)

Thanks!

Thanks but that doesn't tell me what oil seal it is, just how much.

Or am I missing something?

Where does it go on the trike?

The only way I know to figure out were it goes is to use partsfiche and look at the part number of each seal. Not a easy way, but the only way I know.

Sometimes when you type in the Honda part number at ServiceHonda, the desc. does tell you more about it.. sometimes the trike itself.

I've learned to know codes to figure out the basics. HA5 = 350X, HA2 = 85-86 R, 961 = 81-82 R, 964 = 83-84 R ...

I have parts manuals for the 81 250R (from austrailia!) and 350X on CD (which Billy has posted on the site here) and the 85-86 R. So once I know which bike, I search on the CD or binder til I find the part, Seals would be the hardest, as they are used on different bikes and trikes and thus the product code doesn't match much.

Thanks guys.....this is what I thought.

I usually manually look through the schematics on partsfish and try to find it that way but it takes a long time for something like an oil seal and was looking for an easier way!
