Who has the best rates from say....San Diego to Houston?

I want to ship an R from there to Texas.

Is forward air still the cheapest. $400 seems a bit high.

It sucks that most of the mint trikes are in San Diego and around the West Coast. My zilla was from there and it was mint as well.

Call some moving companies. Sometimes you can get them to pick up one item while they're doing someone elses move. I got my R from Ohio to AZ for around $300 that way. They're insured too.

Not sure if they offer shipping in the San Diego area or not but try www.forwardair.com I've dealt with them a couple of times and have been happy with thier service.
