Has anyone ever tried octane booster in a 2 stroke? Is it worth trying?

More octain doesn't mean more power so unless you have a pre-detonation problem, it won't help anything.

It will because most high comp pistons require more than regular pump gas eh

As oldschoolin allready said,, All its made for is to be mixed into pump gas if you need more octane and can't get higher octane gas anywhere close by... It is not supposed to be used as a go-fast performance product, it is used to stop pre denonation and pinging (a highly modded engine requires higher octane... or it will do that.)

Go read the bottle that it comes in.... ;)

Oldschoolin - Wheres the sign when ya need it? :D

As for your question twqranger - I ran it in my R for a little while because I had bad pinging and performance, it did help, but it wasnt really modded enough to require anything over pump premium, So I just leaned the main jet out and that solved everything. I wouldnt use it unless for some reason you need it (are you running any engine mods that will effect compression?)

most of those boosters say "do not use in 2-stroke engines" or 'not recomended'
