I was watching that when it was $400, I know of a person that has one new in the box, as well as complete 250r speedo, fender brace, fender extentions, hrc forks and rear shock, all brand new. He won't sell them.

I am looking to buy the whole kit or all the parts except for the gas tank for I have one of those . either $ or parts or both just let me know .it would look good under the Christmas tree or on the old 250r .

I found the part number for it and ordered it, lets see what happens, it lists for $319.78 at service honda. I got my new short track shrouds and new fender stabilzer from the guy, he told me about the other things he has.

just to let you know, you can make the kit work with just the gas tank and shrouds, cut the steering stops on the tripple, cut 2 pieces of metal that are about 1 7/8 and drill two holes in them at 1 1/4 apart and 2 more pieces at 7/8 that are about 1 1/4 long, use small bolts to atach the metal peices to the frame the 1 7/8 ones on top and 1 1/4 on the bottom, use a bolt and nut to secure the radiator to the metal pieces, bolt the 8mm bolt on the bottom of the guard to the frame as normal. Thats how mine was with the exception that I had the proper bottom tripple, 3 rides it wa fine, then I got the correct radiator guard and it fit alittle bit better. I still never got the correct middle bolt relocation bracket, but I used the piece of metal that I cut and drilled for it.

meh.. Atleast the guy ha reasonable shipping rates, $15 isn't bad for all that. (I was just searching the page for numbers I could afford, LOL) That Sandsation250r is bidding on alot of things for a big fat price.

Bruce - I honostly wouldn't be surprised to see Jez_N_Faye come back at the last second with a 1,500 bid, I've seen them buy some things at insane prices.

What auctions like this make me wonder is; What are all these bidders like jez-n-faye doing with all this stuff they spend hundreds (and thousands) on?

That's nuts....glad I got my stuff years ago.

Did you guys notice that the same guy is bidding on both. He's paying top dollar. I wish him luck.

After reading this post, I was wondering......is jez_n_faye someone on this board? I wonder how many new bikes have been built with the stuff he or she have been buying. Wow! I'm jealous.

No its not Chris, (last I knew anyways). I do know they are over in England, or something like that. If theres any mint or new items on ebay,, you can bet on them throwing a bid, and if they really want it... they wont stop for nothing..

Here's what a tank went for I was watching. I thought about buying it to have around. But I was not sure if it was a 250r tank or off a CR. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4504748585&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEDW%3AIT

Looks like a CR tank Blazer, I have a short track tank, and it's not that narrow.

Yes he is Chris and he's a great guy to work with, also very knowlegable on the old 250r's. Jez is his ID here I believe and Faye is his wife. She also knows alot about these 250r's. Both great people.
