well this is a guy on trx450r website that had a 83 84 R before his 450 hydroplaing it said had to hit it wfo in 4 gear

thats so awesome, when I get a 200x I want to try that but im worried that I wont make it across lol

I wouldn't try it with a 200x
Also, just because it's a great picture doesn't mean he made it either.
I have seen video of a 250r that made it though.
We used to skip open water on our lake in the winter. The widest part I ever skipped was only about 20 feet and I almost didn't make it. I watched a Formula plus snowmobile skip 1/2 mile of water. That was a cool thing to see.

ive done that on a 185s and a 200(not sure of the model) all it takes is alot of speed, and dont plan on going across the river.. you need alot of speed, and when you hit the water, its like hitting a brick wall.. i had to wind the 185 all the way out to get it to do it, and only did once or twice, puts some serious stress on your bike if you dont get it on top of the water..

ye ai try hydroplaning sometimes..not very fast and not very deep or wide water but it slows down my 185 really quik

lol, I've tryed to hydro with the Reds in some of the bigger water holes... :D
I hope if you try it that you don't loose any teeth ;) That G-Force when you hit that water can sometimes throw you over the bars if you aren't carefull/paying attention.

Great Picture ! I was talking about that in a pass post , see thats what I am talking about only back in 1986 they were all using 1985/86 250r's where I went riding I only wish I had pictures of it .
