Hey guys, sorry for the lack of posts lately, but I've been pretty busy lately, hunting season, school etc. etc. Anyhow I put a new tire on my 82 200e, and finally cleaned my shop so it doesn't look like riot city, and I decided to pull the trigger on restoring the old 82, and I'm going to start with a re-build. So I was wondering if anyone had a printable (on 8.5x11 preferably) exploded engine diagram of an 82 200e engine. If you did could you PM it to me? Oh yeah, if you do PM it to me could you say so in this thread, because my main computer (which has 3ww on it basically 24/7) is really REALLY messed up, and my inbox on this computer won't show If I got any messages, so if you could that would be really handy. Thanks everyone for helping keep three wheelers alive,
PH

hi ph.
i don't think there is 1 overall exploded veiw of a motor. it might be sorta confusing anyway.
try bike bandits diagrams and see if that helps ( hopefully ) .
click the OEM box and take it from there ,,,,

How do you separate the cylinder/head from the case? What's that bolt with the rubber cover on it that goes I to the caseis that the timing chain tensioner? should I just pull it out? then maybe that hex bolt with the Philips head next to the timing chain top sprocket will be free?
I just want to replace the rings & lap the valves.
Thanks for your help.

The bolt with the rubber cap is the cam chain tensioner. Don't pull that out if you are just removing the head.
Download the service manual here. Right-click, save target as: http://www.oscarmayer.net/atc/manuals/honda/82-83_200e_bigred.pdf
It tells you step by step how to remove the head
