Hey guys here's some 250R's I found in the thrifty nickel for sale, I have no idea what area code belongs to what state, I'm sure you guys will know if you live in that area.

1982 HONDA ATC 250R, many polished parts $300 OBO, must sell. Call 559-213-5707.

The last one is in N. LA. to be exact, right here in my home town. I just called and the 250 is not an R, it's an air cooled 4 stroke w/ blown motor. He had it listed wrong :twisted: If it was the R i would have paid that for just a heap of parts. oh well. By the way 559 is a CA. area code.

Hey you could still buy it and then part it out on ebay or something like that if you wanted to.

Did you ask him what it exactly was? Maybe it was a 250X.

For Southern California, www.recycler.com is a free advertising and printed paper with cheap stuff in it. Everyday there is 25 to 35 ATC's in there...all makes and models. Go to the website and search under Motorcycles, then put in ATC and years 1970 through 1987. Usually at any given time there are air cooled R's for $500 to $1000 in decent shape and waterpumpers at $1200 to $2600 for a 250R Glamis style alcohol burner. There is always a ton of 200x's in there and maybe 4 or 5 350X's.
