83 250R Fork oil

Hi guys , I have just changed the fork seals on my 83 Atc250R and was trying to figure out how much oil they need , In my clymer manual it says 174cc per leg but in a search of the forums someone said 475cc? any ideas..I need to know as I am getting withdrawl symptoms from not riding.

well ,,, i gotta admit paulsm ,,, it took me sevral minutes of looking too !

on page 231 ,,, way down at the bottom entry in my clymers manual.
281cc ( 9.5 U.S. oz. or 7.9 imp. oz. ) for the 83 - 84 air cooled "r"'s

Thanks john my clymers is for the 81-82 so I wanted to double check
