ok i have an 85 200x. just picked up a 50 tooth rear sprocket off ebay for 10 bux shiped. after looking at this thing it is the size of a wall clock. but my question is should I install it or make it into a clock. how much of a torque monster is this ganna be? has anone else ever run a 50 tooth and what have your experinces been.
also on a side not i like to do 50mph on my trike. thats what it tops out at how much slower will this mske it. just wondering

I have just recently gone from a 42 tooth to a 48 tooth rear sprocket on my 250r. And i have noticed a big difference. Personally i don't like it, it makes top end too slow. I didnt think that 6 teeth would make a huge difference. The only reason why i got it was because here in Australia no one makes 84 250r rear sprockets, i would have had to get one made up or get a genuine honda one and they were both about $130, and a man just had this one lying around and sold it to me for $30. So for me personally, i would only put a 50 tooth sprocket on if it is an emergancy, otherwise i would make a clock (i think that would look cool)!! But them again, i don't really know what effect it would have on a 200X (i have never actually riden one, unfortunatly).
