I'm guessing ebay would be the cheapest place to get a new front tire. Mine's not looking so good after 20 years and four plugs. Anyone have a spare they're looking to get rid of?

(Oh, and this is my first post. I thought ATC's were "less-than-ideal" to put it politely, now I have one and am seeing their beauty.)

I just bought a Carlisle Trail Pro (22 X 11-8) at WalMart for $42. Hell of a nice tire too. I ended up cutting the steel band out of the old tire to get it off, and I made sure I put a new valve stem in there while I was at it. I also put a heavy coating of grease on the o-ring between the rims to help it seal.

Alright, just went and wrote down what it says on it.. its a 22 x 11 - 8 ,, Pro / Am Ohtsu H-Trak. I THINK thats the stock front tire. It is in good shape, no dryrot, lots of tread left. Tubeless. PM me if interested.

Like I said above learning a lot about ATCs. Learned that if I burn up my motor I need a Wiseco 10.5:1 piston and a Web cam. :) Also, I learned that Web's internet home page IS NOT webcams.com. It is;

www.webcamshafts.com You're in for porn if you go to the first address. Just a funny experiece I thought I'd pass along.

Anyway, about ATC tires. I just saw a 22x11x8" Carlisle Knobby tire (can be seen at http://www.carlisletire.com/ ) for <$36 US. So, I may just pick up one of those. Figured I'd pass the word along. If you figure you have to pay shipping to get a tire off the 'net, it's right in line with the cheapest available.

Just wanted to share my findings.
