I need some info on the supertrapp for the 350X.
If you take off that back cap and all the discs is there any type of baffle or anything in there or is it just open?
How many discs do you run for the best power?

You can buy an open cap for more top end performance.

yeah i know about the open cap but is there anything inside to stop the flow of air.
i need to know cuz i want to put the open end cap and the game wardens will check it to see if it straight thru or not. they usually just stick a weed or stick in it to see. if theres nothing and its strait through you get a ticket.

Just put a few disk on to be safe. A loud exhaust system will give you a minor perfomance gain, but a major noise issue. Lots of noise = closed riding areas.

I have a trapp on both my 200X and 350X. I have tried them with no rings and all I get is a loud 3 wheeler with no power gain, in fact I think I lose pwoer. Ohh and by the way its open in there and it won't be forest legal. Anyways, the more rings the better. I had no rings on my 200x and then I put 18 rings on there and upped the jetting to one jet size bigger and the bike gained noticable power from running the 18 rings versus not any rings at all. There is a scanned Suptertrapp manual on this site somewhere that even states that the more rings up to a max of 18 is how you gain power, but you must up the jet too if you do this.

About how far does a trapp with 18 discs stick out the back?
You have to buy longer bolts right?

It doesn't really stick out at all and the bolts that came with my 200X Suptertrapp were plenty long. See my thread "My refurbished 200X......" Its on the board right now and has some pics of my 200X. One of the pics shows the pipe from a side angle.

Is the power gain worth spending the money? It is about $265 in dennis kirk. Where is the cheapest place to get one.
I could get a cobra jet system for 170. Is it any good?

You get what you pay for, and Cobra's are cheap for a reason
