Jcwhiteny.com has tires starting around $35 you can check there or go used. Where do you live? I know I have some, but it might be best to try to find local

i found some crappy cheng shin knobby's on Rocky mountain on clearance for $35. They are the correct 23.5 x 8 x 11 size also. I dont like the looks however and would like to know if I can go with a slightly smaller size on the stock rim like 23x8x11. There are more options for a 23 inch tire than 23.5!

I want a 9" or 10" wheel so I can get some big fat tire for up there.
I'd happily trade a 22 x 11 x 8 tire & wheel for one... :)

The biggest factor in a tire price is shipping, and if you can find one local, youll get your best price. Cheng Shin makes great quality tires at a decent price. Most are a softer tire that are ideal for no suspension models.
I wouldnt even consider the difference bteween a 23 and a 23.5 tire as being different. Actual tire heights between different styles and makes of 23" tires vary more than the 1/2" you are looking at.
