where can you get a new seal for the middle of them, or what is best to use?

There are two thoughts on this. Get the large o-ring from the dealer, or slap some gasket maker in there. Your choice

I just use a tube for the tires. It saves me a lot of work.

i just use some blue rtv goopy stuff it works excellent for me
dont use rtv or silicon it will just be a hassel in the end becuse it falls out or gets crused to much then your screwed..go to the hardwar/plumbing shop and get a big fat o-ring thats the best way to do it :)

I use the O-ring AND coat the entire surface with RTV, and have never had a problem. I dont like tubes, but if it was rusted, that would be the best solution.

I second that but I usually give the mating suface a really good steel wooling or sanding (depending on the rust) before hand.
