I ordered a carb kit from mfgsupply.com for my 82, 200. and wanted one for the 84 ES Big red at the same time. but they don't got it !

That's a few sites now that don't cary the carb kit for the 200 ES...?

The sucker has a plastic float ( no metal adjust arms.. all orange plastic .) ???

Anyone know anything about this situation ?

yes... what about it? it can be bent to adjust just as you would adjust a metal and rubber float.

Remember though, carb. kits don't include a new float. They come with jets and gaskets but no float!

yeah i know.. suxx.

My floats on both trikes are ok, or i think they are at least... on the 82 it has been bent before, but now that i have the manual i'll be able to set it, on the big red tho with plastics, how the hell can you adjust it without having the plastic arm bend back to original postion or breaking it ? heat ?

ok.. got an e-mail form mfgsupply to confirm my order for the 82 kit, and while i'm at it i ordered a kit for an 84 200 M ( same carb, i'm almost sure of this.. the main jet might be different, but the 0-rings and needles etc.. are the same regadless .. right ?

iv found with the re-build kits for my 82' 200 the slider needl is slimer than the stock one also they just give you a big oring for the float seal and you have to use some silicone to get the bugger to stick...and also the needel for the float was diffrent and wouldent work with the metal floats..i paid 25$ from my honda shop for the re-build kit all i used was a main jet air screw pilot jet and a float bowl seal...it rather pissed me off..lol another thing they gave me too small a main jet the kit came with a 95 and 98 main and i know for sure that around hear bikes came off the floor witha 100 main in em...so anyways..thems my rants of aftermarket rebuild kits LOL
