85 T3 Plastics????

i need to know am i better off looking for Osama or tecate plastic? i cant find them anywhere mine are destroyed, id like to get a set in green if i could, and is it true they came in blue aswell???

good luck with nos....they only cane red or green. look around, lots of maier stuff around

Check with some local Kaw shops. You might luck out on some OEM stuff. I know my local shop has tons of 86-87 T-3 stuff left(for now), so I would check around.

I've had no luck with NOS plastic but Maier is a good quality product. www.maier-mfg.com.

I used an 85 front fender and an 86 rear and it looks great. Only problem I ran into was making the rear fender support (easy) and fabbing some spacers to fit the seat. Eventually I'll just buy an 86 seat pan. (if anyone has one let me know, 86 Tecate seat pan).

They didn't come blue from the factory, but Maier made custom plastics in different colors back in the 80's for ATVs of the period, just like they do today. And other colors of Maier are pretty impossible to find now-a-days too.
