the dimensions dont seem to be like a car tires at all, so if i want lower (flat track style) tires for an 8in wheel what size is best to look for?

what kinda trike? u gotta dennis kirk catalog for atv's ? look up in the tire section right after all the tires and find trailprotrailpro model for new rims..it will say the pattern..trailprotrailpro lookin for flattrack style tires to go on 8 inch rims? try somethin like 20x11x8 or 18x11x8

hmm, no dennis kirk right now, but I swithced out my hubs and wheels are aftermarket, Im not sure if they are even 8 in, or 9 in, thats why i want to know how to measure them, and how to measure the tires.

Look for something like 20X11X9 or 20X11X8 the first # is the how tall the tire is the 2nd # is the width the 3rd # will be your rim size.

hmmm, so its 20in tall form the ground? I have that size on my 250sx and its the stock sixe I think, I saw some 18x9.5x8 that looked a bit better ob ebay. So the rim is measured by height not width for the last digit correct?
