87 axle for 86

i have a 86 200x and i know that a lot of parts from a 86 are the same as 87's but i just wanted to know if an 87 would work on a 86. i just wanted some thoughts on it before i buy it just in case it won't fit.

The 86 and 87 200x's are almost identical machines. So yes, the rear axle will inner change with the 86.
