A guy I work with told me he had a 110 that he would sell me for a $100. I thought this was a great deal, so I picked up a case of busch light bottles (his favorite) and went to his farm. we sat around a drank quite a few and did some bullshi**ing. and decided to to go dig it out of his barn where it had sat for the past 6 years buried under a bunch of farmers garbage. loaded it up in my truck, got out the cash to pay him and he said to just bring him another case a beer to work on monday. what could I do, I hate to force money on people :D . the next morning I changed the fluids, cleaned the carb (filthy) and gave her a pull and she sparked to life. I couldnt believe that it started on the first pull withonly minimal service after stting for 6 years. I always thought you guys were joking when you would talk about how bullit proof hondas are. I am now a believer. Only issue I am having is that it boggs down to the point that it will not move unless the choke is half closed. any ideas on that???
anyway here are a few pics, not the most beautiful thing in the world, but what can you expect?
Hey Howdy, I pm'd you about some parts

yea, he said his kids took it to hell and back when he handed me about 20 reciepts of service work that had been done to it dating back to '84.

Anyone that does farmwork or own a construction small buisness keeps so many reciepts its sick. My friends grandad owns a paving company, has reciepts from 72 WHY!?

Why not save the receipts? I like getting them when I buy stuff, it just goes to show if the previous owner did the bear minimum or actually took care of it. When I bought my truck the guys included a folder with receipts to everything he had done or replaced on it since he bought it in '89. Now I know its history since it was almost new.

I think that the carb needs to be soaked in a can of carb cleaner. Then blow it dry with compressed air. I think that should fix your bogging problem.
Nice buy

For the bogging problem I'd do what smokinwrench said, but it never hurts too let them warm up a bit too. Thats a sweet deal for a few beers! Needs some work, but it can be done fairly easily and it will look sweet when its done. My truck came with a whole load of reciepts too, if you ask me its a good sign.

I think the rack is bent up like that because of too many lost wheelies. as far as the bogging issue is concerned I'll try cleaning the carb again, maybe I missed some debris the first time. It actually starts to bog down after it has warmed up and operates normally when cold.
