Pipe question

just wondering about the pipes with discs like the supertrapp, white brothers
will they put too much heat on the fenders or anything else because the air comes out all around it and not straight back?

I never had a problem with the supertrapps mounted on the old ATC350X or the Warrior I had. Usually the exhaust coming out of any ATV tail pipe isnt hot enought to do anything anyway.

Not to say "your wrong" but my friend with a warrior caught his plastic cooler, in the 6pack rack, on fire when riding @ the dunes!?!?! We had to stop him when we saw the flames coming from the back of his quad. He didn't even notice it, but flames were coming off the bottom corner by the pipe. We opened it up and the water inside was boiling, so we kicked it out of the rack and dowsed it with the sand & let his ride cool down. You'd brobably be OK but we were going over some huge hills & that bike was really push'n it hard. He since used a large, like 1inch, spacer to move the pipe out. We'll see what happens next weekend. :D
