i have a 200s motor with a 10:1 piston on my 200x what octane should i run. I felt like i was not getting all i could out of it at top speed.

You will be fine on regualr gas.

just remember, the higher the octane, the more expansion you get. more expansion means more heat. higher octane=more heat

what would make me lose power at high speeds. Well i shouldnt say i lose power but it doesnt feel like i am getting the most speed possible. I have a 200s motor a 200x carb with a 110 jet a uni filter, and a cobra exhaust.

You need to re-jet your carb after adding those parts. That could explain your power loss.

thats cool..anyone know what i would need on my 185..its bored 30 over im not sure of the comp tho..its only got a straight pipe on it right now cause i cant afford a new exhaust i was thinkin about gettin one off ebay since there is like 3 but not sure..by the way..its got a straight pipe on it cause when i got it all it had was the header..and it kept burnin my leg so i added some pipe..lol..my carb is stock and bored .30 over do i need to rejet to a bigger? its got a 98 main..i think i should go to a 100 or 102
