Ah I Have A Ride

I just picked up a 85 200x for 200 bucks, plastics, frame, acceroies are lookn awesome, the rear fender has a nice crack where it angles down to the footpegs. The motor needs a new crankshaft connecting rod, along with new rings gaskets etc. I wanted to have a black and white bike with frame black swingarm white, tank black with short, fat white flames (i know someone that paints and he said hell do it for free) but i need to find the plastics and seat cover that will look good. Cant u sand, primer, paint any color plastics? Or does anyone know a good place to buy?

I painted my rear plastic on my 200x with "fusion"spray paint for plastic and it looked great but every now and then I have to touch it up.All I did was just wash the plastic with some gas and then a very quick sand.

smokinp it says one of your x's has black plastic whered u get it. And i changed my mind about the tank, i want white vents and black tank (no stickers right now), smokin with the weisco piston, bore kit, and trailprotrailpro pipe how stout is trailprotrailpro motor
and do u have to run 108 octane with that piston

Im gonna all the maier plastics ive seen are either white or red. Im bad with computers so maybe im doin somethin wrong. anyone that knows how to post pics i can send em a pic of the trike to post

Na man the guy lied about the ad but i bought the x and its a neat bike. I just got in from strippn the paint off the tank, this weekend i think im going to try to tackle the frame. by the way thanks killabeez i just got the link to work but for some reason the pics wont show up

yea i think they took the pics down. i know they make black plastic for it though, i've seen the options listed on a couple different sites for black, white, or red.

I know hey man we need to go ridin sometime, or meet up at trikefest or another ride, i think this is gonna be an awesome winter project, and i like the black and white idea is that common with x's?

yea i know my 185 aint runnin tho...i got myself a winter project if i can find plans to build a suspended 185s frame..hehe..itll be bad...i dont get my license till like june next year so i may go to alot of the rides if i get a truck..if i dont get a truck im savin to get one cause i dont want to look like a dousch pullin a atc around on a trailer attached to a car..lol...no offense if any of you do this

ya i got my black plastic from there for a 200x rear and 350x front it was like 160 shipped.there is some pics under my 200x restore page. its a page or 2 back. i think the plast isnt as good as from the mair store, mine had a few dings in it and some other lil defects. no scratches and it looks great still!
