I hear you man, I've gotta use monster coveralls, mukluks, big mitts and a super lined helmet in the november deep freeze! I'd get a ski-doo but I can use the trike year round, and its lighter than a ski-doo too.

A couple of years ago, my son took my big red out for a "donut ride" thru the snow in one of the two parks we have in town (small town, 450 res.) a couple of days later we were together, when we ran into the entire city maintance force, (we simply refer to him as Sam!) After introductions Sam turned to my son Bernard, and said the next time he finds donuts cut in the snow in his parks, he was going to come and get bernard to kick his Bee hind... around each donut mark! Bernard never one to keep quiet, turns to Sam and says, "What makes you so sure its was me? Sam held up three fingers and said your the only one in town with three wheels. Love the Trike and the Snow Donuts for everyone Bixxl
Dammit!

I'll post some soon after next weekend, I got 1/4" of snow last night. I like to give people one weekend to go through the meat grinder that we know here in Alberta as the #2 highway before I go on it. I bet next weekend going up I see like 20 cars in the ditch and broken roadside fences everywhere, I like to give the road service one week to sort it out before I hit the road! Its actually kinda fun to watch people getting stuck in town because they cant drive in the snow!
yep my thoughts exactly pistonhead lol it was fun sat morning out on the trikes in town becuse we where like the first ppl out...burned dougnuts all over the roads :D

snow is the funnest stuff to ride in, me and my buddy go out after we get bad snows in his truck (93 f250 460 4x4 turning 35" bfg) and just cruise the back roads and go drift busting and pull people out if need be and we pile his blaster and my 200X in the back of the truck just in case we get stuck so we still have a way home

I love groomed trails in the snow: smooth as silk, even the bumps are smooth, no need for ice in the cooler, very little water and muck and NO MOSQUITOES!
Even off trail it's a riot, as long as it ain't so deep you can't get through it.
Last year I did a trail run of 80km in freezing rain. Now, that's a different story altogether! No fun riding trails that are pure ice . . .
Well, ok, yes it is!

Yah no Bugs, when I was in manitoba during the summer for a few weeks it was over 40 degrees sometimes, Muggy, with tonnes of mosquitos. Lots of sweet trikes in manitoba though so it was kinda worth it.

We havent gotten show in Pennsylvania yet but last year after a good snow fall i took the 250sx out and blew some dounuts. I learned a lesson, never burn dounuts in one spot, grass will show and roll overs occurs. I was a noob at the time. :)

The wood sleds arent that bad, 2 2x6 runners with a sheet of plywood on top, with a chain going through a mortise on each runner, then to the hitch on the red.
i havent tried it with a woden sled...GT's are hard enoug on the ass as it is...actually..u just dug em all out the other day..have to put new screws in the runners to keep them off..they where the heads down when you got on harder stuff...gota find a ski too..lol unfounatly someone therw out my gt scrap pile this summer :( so gota fab one up i think..lol

I'm hoping for a 200x or 350x, I sit at school staring at the big field, and drawing 350x's on my notes. Then my teacher will be like: pistonhead what the hell are you doing? Pay attention. If only I could get my teachers to integrate trikes into the physics questions and stop calling me my forum name! JK they don't actually call me pistonhead, but my buddies sometimes do.

Snow is the best thing that ever happened to me! Maybe it's cause I'm from the top of maine and I'm forced to like it cause we have so much, haha. We are going to get like 8 inches over the next couple days, time to take out the trikes!!
