I have a 200s engine on a 200x frame, Cobra exhaust, UNI filter, Im having carb problems. Im gonna buy a used carb but I was wondering If I should get a 200x carb or an S carb. The engine does'nt have work. Almost forgot Its got an XR200R cam and top end. Any suggestions on carb and jet size will help, Thanks :beer

if i were you id use a 200x carb or an xr 200 carb being you already have an xr 200 top end :Bounce

Just get the carb that the motor originally came with and that would be a good starting point, then you can refer to the manual for jetting ranges and starting points. Or find out what the diff is between the S and the X. I don't know alot but I believe its the same motor, just one has reverse and the X is more of a sport version.

I don't know alot but I believe its the same motor, just one has reverse and the X is more of a sport version. the 200x carb is bigger then the 200s,but the xr 200 is bigger then both of them.I would go with the 200x carb since you already have the 200x intake boot and the xr 200 carb might be too big for the engine,with the 200x carb will gain more power and be able to use the 200x throttle setup.(if you dont have it already)
