good luck finding that. i sold my last calfab for $400 or $450. you will be best off to buy a used stocker off of ebay and then having it extended.

Damn who dont want an extended swingarm for their Tecate. Good luck. There is this guy from Germany on here and he makes sweet swingarm extenders for the 86. But Mik6 told me it will work on my 84 i think. He has one.

i'm just going to extend an original on my next project. But, i'm also thinking of having my brother reproducing my calfab. i'll ask him this weekend, and i'll let you guys know.

Thats Hagen that makes the aluminum swingarm extender. Yeah I believe it would fit as well. Damn, thats another must have (really a want) item added to the list.

List:

295 Big Bore
20x11x10 iRazr's on Douglas rims
2 Inch swinger extender...

Cliff, that's what I'm talking about.....reproduction would be better than getting the original part. I can even handle the work but I need an extended one to make my jig so everything lines up perfect....I remember that auction 200x, I just couldn't part with that much at the time( heck I got my 86t3 for $400 ). I have seen Hagens extenders and they are definitley very clean but I'd prefer to spend the money on an actual swinger.....I do have a use stocker to extend but the legs of the swingarm are not parallel so I thought it would look crappy to have those angles broken up by a straight extension........f-it, that's my last resort I guess. So nobody is sitting on one of these then? I don't believe it.....I know one of you museum guys has one on the shelf, I just know it.....give it up and put it to good use.....

i have one om my tecate, but its the only swinger i have. if i take it off i'm out of a ride. My brother is a very talented aluminium welder, so i figured this winter i could have him take a look at it and see what he could do. But as for shipping my swinger somewhere to have someone copy it, i wouldn't do that. its not that i'm worried about you messing it up, because i know that wouldn't happen, i'm worried about shipping companys. I haven't had very good luck with any shipping companies, and i don't want to gamble with my $500 swinger. sorry

how much you willing to spend for one of us "musem guys" to let one out?

I gave up and decided to just extend a stocker for now. It's going to look funny because of the taper, but f-it, it'll work for now. I just can't spend the bux right now for a classic. Thanks for the help guys and thanks NickG for the offer but I can't "swing it" at this time...lol.

actually i do have one of those somewhere, my dad told me my 85 is up there, that is an exact replica of jw's. i was on team green ametur support then and was able to get all that stuff. btw the kdx tank(i think a kdx 80) was a better tank...it did not crack
