Wondering if the 86 Tecate CDI will work correctly on the 85 Tecate. They look the same on Partsfiche.

been there done that. the part # is different but the part supercedes to the 86 style(you may need to change the connecter, doubt it) i am a parts guy, that is why i know(hehe) seriously, i had both at the same time as well so i looked at them and swapped them. i have a lot of knowledge of these as i had a bunch new and raced them a lot in the 84-86 seasons. i always find stuff lying around when i clean up my staorage or barn or even the parents place

very cool Nick, they look identical on Partsfiche right down to the connectors so I'll be gettin the one I've found. This is great. again thank you very much
