Just the MOST antagonistic question, I believe, but one with it's place!!!! Everyone always thinks their baby is best, but the unbiased opinion is never seen! So, to the public domain we ride! Very simply put, I want to get evryone sharing their rides with each other. I believe they're like a peices of art, they need to be seen to be truly alive!! So, who's got the BEST! Various catagories I suppose,
-Fastest, -Prettiest, -Best original Bike(completely stock!!!), -Best Custom Beast.
I am most interested in seeing the best original stock bike with not a damned thing changed! Could be an interesting thread, just thought I'd roll the dice any see what happens, take it easy, it's just for fun!! :)

Nowhere near the nicest in the world but still very clean trikes. The black (85) was a full restore, the Red one (86) is original, I have changed just a few parts out in favor of some billet parts but still have every original part for it stored.

I don't get the deal with having such a nice machine and NOT RIDING IT !1

why the hell would you buy and own such a beautiful and fun machine and not use it for what it's intended ! that's just wrong !

What are you talking about? I ride mine all the time but I also go over them with a fine tooth comb after getting them dirty. The Red R has been covered in so much mud that you couldnt even tell what kind of trike it was but that will never happen again, I almost cried when i saw what I had done to her the next morning.

that's my point exactly. !

they're meant to have fun.. i get you had alot of fun getting her full of mud !

and cleaning them is fun too !

it just twists me to see garage beauties spend their lives picking up dust.

I think Mike Ft. Laud has a very nice clean 250r. I dunno about the nicest in the world, but its very nice.

my vote for fastest and best styling is ChrisD's R's, his ice racer is mean, i'll look around and see if i cant find a couple pics of it, and also he posted vid's before from a site he made, i'll see if i can find too (anyone who knows it feel free to post it)

Big red head i think your referring to me when you say these bikes should be ridden, as I know petesatc takes his out in the mud.
I totally agree with you, and me and my dad said we would never own anything that isn't ridden regularly and properly.
But we had to drive to germany (1100 miles!!) to get it because they are so rare over here. The guy before us had owned it for nearly 20 years and not got it muddy, so it seems a shame for us to !!!!!
It does get ridden as much as we can, but i am afraid only in the dry :D :D
Besides we have plenty of other trikes to get nice and muddy :TrikesOwn

Thats a good pic to show the massive jump in technology that Honda made with the 250R in just 3 or 4 short years, man that just drives me crazy thinking about the jump that could of been made on a 4th generation R. By the way nice R's.

That blue frame on 3legged's R, it's so....gawd, so beautiful! I love seeing pics of it!
How's about that '87, or was it an '88 (very secret, & probably the only one ever produced) factory racer R in Japan someone posted a pic of a while back, it looked to be inside a shop? It was all red, with inverts? THAT was pretty wild!

Dammit!

I dont know if its the light or the angle or what but this is one of Chris D's is the best picture of a 3 wheeler ever....ever. And these other two have kind of a, shall we say, mexican flavor to them but nice none the less. Havent seen them anywhere else or anything like em.

WOW! I'm glad to hear that I made the cut 2 years ago and today

There are a bunch of nice bikes on here.

OC will have to open the museum soon.
Onedeadpresident always shows up with nice "stockers"
Dammit's R is cool as hell
Aussieduner's bike looks sweet in black with the short track kit.
just a few to note...I'm leaving for work now so I can't post all of them, but there are a lot of them here.

Thanks for all of your votes! I have a lot of time in that bike. I built it as if I were a Honda designer, building it as a track bike for 1988.

Cheers!!!

All super nice !!! :w00t:

I remember seeing Dunerash's R in post over at .org and was wow'd.
I've thought the same for Troll's fooler and ChrisD's R too.
Brandon the Black R will always be a favorite of many.
Too many sweet Rs to pick from. OC, DeadPres, and others have some pristine rides that are some of the best stockers in the world I'm sure.

Great topic. Thanks for bringing it back raffa.
