View Full Version : Cleanest 86 350x in the world!

I have just aquired the nicest original 86 350x there is. Well, maybe not but it is super nice. The only thing not original are the rr. tires, and the tank cover. The tank seems to be mint under the cover and the tires will be replaced with oem. Stock through and through, it even has the rr. garnish. What do you guys think?

Dang it.... I got second dibs then! I got a tank cover on the Showgirl... would like a matching one for my other 350X. Airmancam... got the carb Friday... thanks!

I just bought OEM rear tires... not bad... they run ~$50 a piece and I like the taller/narrower tire. The 23½" front tires are discontinued for the front... same pattern but say 24" on them. However, I think they are actually the same size, but just easier to stock one size for Oshtu.

I dont want to burst bubbles, but i have seen one in that condition. It wasn't for sale (we offered him over $3000). So, if you bought it for less than that, or even for less than $4000, i'd say your the man! beautiful bike no matter what you payed. Can you let us know the story on this garage queen?

The story: My best friend called me in May saying he had found a 350x he was going to get. He said the owner claimed it was near mint. Well you know how mint usuallly goes, so I planned to just wait and see. He shows up with this bike. Well it was mint. He was making payments on it and fell on hard times. I could not buy it from him then so he took it back to the owner. The owner held it till this week and my friend said he did not want it so I got it. The guy I got it from was the 2nd owner. He drove from south AL the up in PA to get it. He rode it 3 times and kept it in a shed. As far as I know, the engine has never been opened. So much for talk, here are some more pics.

Well I prolly paid too much but, 1700. Also got a 250es motor and a xr600 motor in the deal.

Well I dont mean to sound like a dick...but heres some more things that arent stock. The headlight guard..Is that broke/bent/cracked? And you might better just sell me that tank cover, so its almost all original :-p

Man...that is one beauty of a trike you "stole." Not a bad price at all considering that X could go upwards of $2500 on ebay....plus you got 2 motors extra.

BTW: That is an awesome trike.....but I'd still pull for Tom Batt's 350X :D

Sorry...I forgot to add: What year is that XR600 motor if you know?
