need cr 500 help

as i was test riding my bike inorder jet the carb on my way back the bike shut off. i pulled the clutch in & let it go & it started but shut off again...when i kicked it over it had no compression...what can cause it to lose compression...85 cr 500

compression leak how is the botttom end in the bike?

mabe yer reeds are stuck open?..possibly

you could have been running very lean and melted a hole in the piston... to be able to looz compression that fast... i have done it before on a sled

when i removed the head i didn't see a hole in the piston...but i know that i was running very lean...i friend told me to fill the bottomend with oil & fuel mixture to see if the seals are bad...i will do that tomorrow after work...

if u were running lean then you def burned soemthing up id check out your crank seals and do a compression test.
