check ebay often. you can also use one from an '83 Big Red 200e or an '84 Big Red 200es. ALSO, you can use the tank from and '84 200m or and '85 200m. They are all identical tanks, just different stickers. Hope this helps.

i have a 200s, i was wondering if i could put a big red tank on it, they are very similar, i believe the big red tank is larger, but i dont remember i had a big red about 6 years back.

has anyone ever done it? do they match up? and would the extra fuel amount to anything?

the 200s tank is different from the 200 big reds and the 200m's. it is smaller than they are, and i don't think it will line up.

it's a 7-day listing, and it only has 2 days & 7 hours left. which means it's been on there for OVER 4 and half days now. and the good news: after all that time, ONLY ONE PERSON HAS BID SO FAR!!! so you might have a really good chance at getting it...and for a really low price. it's only at $8.99 now. good luck!

do you mean from some other brand such as yamaha or suzuki 3 wheelers? if so, i don't know of any that would match up to a 200 big red. as far as other hondas, like a 200x or 200s or a 250r, forget it. now the 1981, 1982, 1983 atc 200's, i'm pretty sure that they will fit. another tank that comes to mind that MAY fit (and i'm really reaching on this one) would be the 1980 thru 1983 atc 185 / 185s tanks. but don't hold me to that.

Anything is possible with a grinder and welder :D Although I'd advise you to be very cautious with either one around the gas tank.

LOL.. i like your disclaimer.

been reading alot of these in the clymer manual

ex: Check to make sure you have gas in the tank.. note: do not use a match or lighter to do this as a serious explosion will occur.

I've heard of a guy basically blowing up his whole basement when redoing a motorbike tank. I wouldn't want to risk it unless I was 100% sure that the fumes were done.
