1. write down the numbers
2. go to www.3wheelerworld.com
3. go to spefifications page
4. click on the type of trike you have
5. keep clicking each year untill you match the numbers up

Sample No. JH3 TB052 3 D C 325427
JH3: This is the "Type and Make" number. All are Honda's, obviously, but this number denotes motorcycles, atc's, etc, and the country of manufacture.
TB052: Vehicle Description Code. This number is for a 200X
3: Check Digit (don't worry about this one)
D: Year of manufacture. B='81, C='82, D='83.....
C: Plant where manufactured
325427: Sequential production number.

Falstaff,
Carefully record the full serial/identification numbers (such as V.I.N., H.I.N., frame number and engine number) from your Yamaha product. Then see your authorized Yamaha dealer, or call Yamaha Customer Relations at (800) 962-7926.
This is copied from the Yamaha website. I would call first since it is Toll Free, then go down to the Dealer if the phone call was unsuccessful.
Hope this helps. ;)
