84R extended swing arm

I need to get an extended swing arm for my 84R I have been trying to watch ebay, and so far no luck. I have even taken my stock swingarm into some local metal shops to see what they could do. One said no and the other said they could make me one out of steel for around 350.00 :rolleyes:
So I need to see if anyone can help me here or steer me in the right direction.

if you know someone who can weld good, or if you can, an easy option is, get another swinger (junk or cheap used) and cut the extra length you want out of the seperate swinger, then cut where you wanna extend your swingarm, and weld in the pieces of the other swingarm (the length you wanna extend it), just make sure you take ALOT of measurements and make sure everything is straight and level. you can also insert metal in the middle to strengthen it.. i'm sure someone else can tell you more about this, it's late and getting hard to type, LOL.
